Alleghany beat Ashe last night for their first win. It’s hard to believe these two are at the bottom of the standings.

East takes down Central. Great pitching by Zach Lovette, good team win! Heard North pounded Starmount and West did Elkin. 2nd half may be a barn burner!

Central won last night 2-1 against Alleghany. Hats off to both teams, it was a great game. It was a pitcher's duel between Johnson and Alex Pruitt of Alleghany. They both pitched complete games and only allowed a few hits on both sides. Central led most of the game 1-0 which was scored early due to a few key errors by the Trojans. Alleghany came out in the top of the 7th and tied the game and Central was able to score in the bottom. Great game to watch!

We lost to Starmount tonight, big innings kill. Some attitudes on Starmount also, dk how that coach puts up with a couple of them

You guys couldn’t be more right. Went to West game last night, saw 7 errors on West. Only 4 errors in box score and list only 3 in run down. Also saw catcher have 2 passed balls, no catching stats posted though. Thought pitcher should have been upset with him dropping to block on balls he caught. Lose strikes that way. West hit it well or wouldn’t have been a game. Out hit Patton except for a HR, errors killed them.

Ashe & Alleghany will be bottom 2 then Elkin & North ( lost 1 of top 2 pitchers ) then you have the remaining 4. WW & WC played an ugly gm, East was ugly vs WW so didn’t really learn anything in those gms. WC vs Starmount was clean gm with Starmount winning 8-4. If Brooks gets back WC has the better team, if not it will come down to if Blankenship for WW finds his groove on the mound. East & Starmount are wild cards, both can get hot & win several in a row or lose several in a row. WC & WW look to be most consistent. Top 4 could end up using tiebreaker to set their finishing order

It going to be interested see who wins the conference .from what I seen it could be any team besides Ashe or Alleghany

Saw East vs Elkin game. East was dominant. Vestal had a long hr to center and East’s pitcher Lovette had 11 strikeouts. East looked good. Both teams played hard. Congrats.

Went to West Alleghany game and the Trojans are not very good..the freshman pitcher for west look very good.

Yeah Nodoubt who was the best "all around " player in the field that night . Maybe should have walked him more than you did.. sounds like you support everyone but East. Just saying. 8seed >2seed ;)

Did Redbirds intentionally walked Brooks 4 times in the championship game last year?I have to say it was smart on y'all coaching staff..anyway I enjoy watching high school baseball I hope all the players that have signed have a great year and college career best of luck

Correction alleghany was one of the bad games. No walks GuRu Nodoubt. And the championship game against East last year.. Very bad... Who else of your candidates are intentionally walked "EVER".

Any body can win POY since Brooks out.I saw alittle bit of Starmount and Alleghany game last night I didn't see anybody on either team have a chance at POY..I do think it will be one of the 3 schools in Wilkes county that wins POY...just saying
